Hello U11 R3D Families!

Regular Season:

Our first game in Esso counted as a regular season game. It was an incredible 2-0 victory against a top divisional opponent in Glenlake White. We then followed that up with our first game after Esso's with a dominant 8-1 win over our sister team U11 Knights 3 White! We saw some incredible defence, scoring and even better, some great passing and structure from our players! We currently sit 2nd overall behind the Undefeated Glenlake Blue team. We have a Regular season win % of .786!!!!

Essos:

Unfortunately we were eliminated in the second round of the A bracket in a shootout. It was a tough game that started out with a dominant first period by us. But a few unlucky bounces off some cross bars, and it was not meant to be. The team that beat us won silver in the Esso final.

Our first game at Esso's we got a 2-0 shutout in an incredible team defence effort from the whole team! We defeated a top 3 team in our league in Glenlake White. This Glenlake White team rode the B side of the bracket and won gold at Esso's. I strongly believe we are the best team in our division and we should hold our heads high as we played the two finalists in our first two Esso games, and were the only team in the tournament that beat the champions.

Wranglers game:

Thank you to our amazing coaches and parents for making the Wranglers game a resounding success on U11 Day at the dome! The team provided each player with a large drink and large popcorn for a first period snack! Our seats were awesome and the players had another fantastic team bonding experience! Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success!!

Parent Party

Please join us at our home for a parent party to further get to know each other as we head towards a fun final stretch of the season! If you aren't bringing your player to practice that night, you may start the fun early as Stacey will be there. If you are bringing your player to practice that night, we will see you shortly after that!

December 1st Onwards - Players only & Game Day schedule;

As of December 1st, there will be a players and coaches-only policy in the dressing room on game days. Practices will remain 1/2 hour before practice starts for parents to hand the room over to the players and coaches. Also, when the regular season starts, our game day schedule will start 1 HOUR before puck drop instead of the regular 30 minutes. This will allow for some dry land stretching as well as some added game prep as every game counts in the standings going forward.

Team Linkt:

If you are going to be late ESPECIALLY for games....Please communicate via team lint or text/call me directly. If you are having trouble getting your player to practices or games, please ask for help/carpool with other players.

Please try to actively communicate and participate through TeamLinkt. It is a big help with planning practices, games, social events, polls etc etc. Communication is key, and TeamLinkt is our team's resource for doing so!
