The U11 Knights 3 Red kicked off their season with a spirited contest against the Bow Valley Flames 3 Red. While the scoreboard favored the Flames, the Knights delivered a performance full of determination, teamwork, and memorable moments that made every parent and fan proud.

  • Knight of the Night: Congratulations to Alyan Jiwa, who earned the coveted "Knight of the Night" award! Alyan’s outstanding play included scoring a goal and assisting on another, showing leadership and hustle every shift.
  • Goaltending Heroics:Kingston Perrella stood on his head in net, delivering an awesome performance. Kingston’s focus and quick reflexes kept the Knights in the game and inspired his teammates with every save.
  • Scoring Spark: The Knights found the back of the net twice, with goals from Spencer Monette (assisted by Alyan Jiwa) in the second period and a determined solo effort from Alyan Jiwa in the third. These moments showcased the Knights’ ability to rally and push forward, even when facing a tough opponent.
  • Team Effort: Every player contributed to the Knights’ energy on the ice. The roster featured strong skating and smart plays from Zayn Afech, Parker Curley, Hayden Galenkamp, Roarke Kerr, and many more. Their hustle and teamwork were evident throughout the game.
  • Coaching Leadership: Head Coach Christopher Ferrier and the assistant coaching team provided guidance and encouragement, helping the Knights stay focused and motivated.
